Privacy Policy — Enigma Cipher

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Overview

Enigma Cipher (“the App”) is developed by Blue Wind Technologies Inc. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

No Data Collection

Enigma Cipher does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. We do not use analytics, crash reporting services, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking tools.

What Stays on Your Device

All data created within the App — including cipher settings, custom rotors, custom reflectors, and saved codebook entries — is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device except as described below.

iMessage Integration

When you send an encrypted message via the iMessage extension, the ciphertext is transmitted through Apple’s iMessage infrastructure to your recipient. No data is routed through Blue Wind Technologies servers. The App does not have servers.

Keyboard Extension

The Enigma Keyboard extension processes text locally on your device. It does not transmit keystrokes or any typed content anywhere.

Share Extension

The Share Extension processes shared text locally on your device for decryption purposes only. No data is transmitted to external servers.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
